Plarn net, made in preparation for “Net-work” Art Encounters at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston

Environmental Art, Learning & Action List

September 11, 2023

This is a working list of resources for continued learning about climate change, environmental health & justice, and ways to take action and connect with other like-minded organizations and artists in the Houston area.

To add a resource to the list, please fill out this short form or leave a comment on the blog.

This list was started as part of the “Net-work” Art Encounters at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston on Sept. 21, 2023. Participants learned how to make plastic yarn with post-consumer plastic waste and worked together to create a plarn net. As a companion to the activity, zines were passed out that invited people to be part of a ecological learning network, with a QR code to this blog post.
